Unidentified Feline Object is a short cat adoption game about helping run a shelter where some of the cats may not actually be cats.

A new feline friend shows up each day. Run a few experiments, watch how they react, and try to figure out whether you're looking at a normal cat or an alien doing a pretty convincing impression of one.

Maybe they love tuna. Maybe they hate dogs. Maybe their reaction to children raises some questions.

Once you've made up your mind, you have a choice. Send the cat home with a human, or decide you've found an alien and send them back where they came from.

Choose wisely. The shelter needs successful adoptions to stay funded, and sending an extraterrestrial home with an unsuspecting human tends to create other problems.

Your coworkers have plenty to say too, and occasionally some of it is even useful.

How to Play

1. Meet the new cat for the day.
2. Run different experiments and see how they react.
3. Look for clues that might tell you whether they're a cat or an alien.
4. If they're a cat, find them a good human home.
5. If they're an alien, send them back to their actual home.
6. Try to keep the shelter funded and the humans uneaten.

What Makes It Different

You're running a cat shelter, except part of the adoption process is figuring out whether the fluffy thing sitting in front of you is secretly an alien.

The experiments are your clues. You have to decide what the reactions mean, make the call, and hope you didn't just send something from another planet home with a family.

It's cute, weird, short, and probably has more extraterrestrials than your average cat adoption game.
